NSW: Family bedside of injured pilot after fatal crash
A New South Wales family rocked by a fatal Christmas eve light plane crash has come
to Sydney to be with the injured pilot who remains in hospital.
A number of media reports say the man who died was 32-year-old MATTHEW GREEN when the
single-engine Cessna crashed in rugged bushland in the New South Wales Upper Hunter Valley
on Wednesday.
The pilot .. 38-year-old SCOTT KENNEDY-GREEN was taken to Westmead Hospital after being
winched from the accident scene yesterday morning.
A hospital spokeswoman says the successful Sydney-based real estate auctioneer has
minor fractures .. cuts and scratches .. and is in a stable condition according to a hospital
spokeswoman.
Mr KENNEDY-GREEN'S brother-in-law .. Mr GREEN .. was the only other person in the plane
when it crashed en route from Mudgee to Glen Innes.
